Al Engstrom was born in Northeastern South Dakota, locally known as the "Glacial Lakes Region". Al has a passion for the great outdoors that came from many years of family tradition. He grew up with a love for hunting and fishing that dates back over 100 years with his father and grandfather both being avid outdoorsmen in this region. Al has passed on this heritage to his two sons and one daughter, who also enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping.

Al is currently a State Certified General Appraiser. He has a vast knowledge of the rural areas of eastern South Dakota having completed over 3,500 agricultural appraisals in the state. Al is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of South Dakota. His specialty is hunting and recreational properties along with ag land investments and management.

Al's 30 years experience in the real estate brokerage, appraisal, and management businesses, prove to be a great asset to buyers and sellers alike.
